Diarrhea kills 2, and 800 plus down in Tagoloan, Misamis Oriental
Abi nako, gamay lang ni nga problema pagka dungog nako sa news sa radyo pero day after day from the start of the outbreak nidaghan na ang victims sa maong sakit.
Ang mga opisyal sa maong municipal saTagoloan nag duda nga Cholera daw ang mga symptoms nga nakita, pero ila pa kining gipa verify para mas klaro jud.
“There are symptoms that point to cholera, but we are still verifying this,” said Grace Valdehuesa of the Department of Health.
“Initial laboratory test by our epidemiologist detected e-coli bacteria. We already sent samples to Manila. We will get the final result in one week,” she said.
Valdehuesa said this was the worst outbreak she saw since 1975.

A massive information drive has been launched by the local government for people to boil water for drinking.
For safety boiling water will do and better yet use mineral and distilled water for drinking.
Cholera comes from a water-borne bacteria that causes severe diarrhea, internal bleeding and eventually death.

@jim - Yeah! that’s what I suspect of that explosive cholera/amoeba whatsoever outbreak in that Tagoloan town… I have heard a lot of stories from the masses that, it might be the Government made those outbreaks to cover politics things out like one in Tagoloan according to the one I heard, where the mayor bashed somebody and the case is still on.
Some also said it is to cover the Hanjin issue where the mayor is the reason why it stops it’s investment on that municipality.

They said that the reservoir at the lower Claveria didn’t make it on time/schedule to put the chlorine in time, where d cholera/amoeba will exist/grow at the pipeline somewhere else. (ingon sa driver sa sikad..)
