I’ve been running for awhile now and that I  think made me a Fun Run enthusiast and been joining almost every fun run being held here in Cagayan de Oro City, the biggest running event so far I’ve joined is of course the Milo Marathon. I ran for 10K the other month but because of lack of preparation for that run out of the busy days for work, I unfortunately hurt my right knee but wasn’t that serious. I also ran for 10K on that beautiful winding, uphill and downhill highway of Camiguin Island for the 1st Lanzones Festival 2011 Run organized by my good Friend Marco.

Well, as a runner (enthusiast), I could tell a lot of things about the benefits of running regularly, but I’ll just name a few. After running it makes my body energized, active and alert all throughout the day. I don’t feel too tired easily with just any simple to complex physical activities and I also got a good night sleep during the night and most specially it keeps my body fit. I don’t have that perfect body but I can confidently say that I have a fit body for my age, that is what my Nutritionist-Dietitians said when I did with my last check-up last month and running improves my body posture.

I keep inviting my busy bee friends to joined with me on my running hobby and fortunately there are already few who joined on my calling and I am not yet satisfied because I want a multitude to start loving the running. That is why I am still inviting each one of you through my Facebook and here on my blog for every running event I am joining.

That is why I am inviting you for another big running event happening in Cagayan de Oro. Coach Rio de La Cruz’ Run United will be having its Run United Regional Series 2011 for Cagayan de Oro leg on November 27, 2011 sponsored by the Unilab. It has 5 race categories the 500m dash for kids, 3k, 5K, 10K, and 21K. That is 4 more days to go and they are still accepting registrations until November 25th so hurry up guys and run to the nearest registration booth located in DVsoria at Pink Saffron Boutique along Pabayo Chaves Street Besides the Corner store, adjacent to Mom’s Corner and look for Alvin Adaza or contact him at 0917-700-39-58.
