Manny Pacquiao vs Timothy Bradley WBO welterweight championship showdown will be tomorrow night (Sat., June 9, 2012) at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, that will be shown Sunday morning in the Philippines. They just finish the weigh-in and Pacquiao hit the 147 lbs., just the limit weight for the WBO welterweight division and Bradley recorded his weight at 146 lbs. Weigh-in is also a way for other bettors to double check who’s pugilist they will invest their money for. They can check the body appearances of both boxers if the are in perfect condition for the fight the next day or not.
As you can see in the weigh-in video, Bradley shows good physical forms that look like his muscles are having their own muscles, while Pacquiao appeared to be soft on the weigh-in. But boxing is not just about forms, weights, arms reach etc… it also requires speed, agility, focused mind and good techniques on how to defeat the opponent. I think Pacman got those skills and abilities to persist on the fight tomorrow.
Bradley said that he will shock the world tomorrow by defeating the Philippine pugilist, but pound-for-pound king Manny Pacquiao just smiled on what Bradley said. It is like saying ‘who cares?’
Meanwhile in the Philippines, people are starting to put up a place for viewing public to gather and witness the so called “hero’s fight”. Some are for free but expect to be in a not so comfortable viewing entertainment and some are with fee but assures your comfort and perfect view on the fight. Traffic roads in the Philippines on the day of the fight will surely become a hassle free specially in a busy roads in the Philippines where jeepney and taxi drivers are a pain in the behind.
