About Me! - Ako Kini!
Himantayon in English means “vigilant”, “Observant”, “alert”, “watchfu”l - paying close attention. So, from the word itself since I have been using the word “Himantayon” on this blog as part of the title, I should be vigilant and alert on what is happening around specially in the City of Cagayan de Oro, Mindanao, Philippines and the Whole World in General.
This is me, my fellow observant Cagay-anons! This blog has been created out of my being a traveler. I love travelling around the City, out of town and even to other cities in the Philippines. I didn’t travel outside the country yet but that is also my target to go international if the budget and time permits, so that I can share my experience outside the country. But for now that I am just a local traveler since I still don’t have a passport, I will see to it that I can roam the wow beautiful Philippines first before conquering other countries beauties of natures and man-made marvels.
I am a true Cagay-anon, been born and raise here in Cagayan de Oro. With my 27th year on this city as of this writing, I have been so keen on what is happenning around the City thus pursuing this blog to write and share to all of you what I observed and witnessed around with families, friends and colleagues.

Ako kini! Ang Kagay-anong Himantayon. Nahimugso kaning Blog tungod sa akong medyo pagkalaagan. Sa una, mga laag ug lipay2x lang nako nga events ako gibutang dinhi isip usa ka Kagay-anon. Pero sa kadugayan, nadugangan na ug mga ideas ug nahimo na dayon nga Kagay-anong Himantayon.
Isa jud ko ka Kagay-anon… dinhi ko natawo ug dinhi pud ko nagtubo, dinhi ko nagniwang ug nag sugod na ko ug panambok ingon nila. Hay salamat murag na-unoran na jud ko. Mahilig ko ug pamantay sa mga tao ug sa palibot dinhi sa Cagayan, Mindanao, Pilipinas ug… ay murag lisod ang gawas sa nasud kay wala pa man diay ko Passport! wakekekeke.
Nag huna-huna ko, nga kung mag uban, chat, kaon, laag, mag surf sa net mi sa akong mga barkada, friendster, ka multiply, ka-blog, ka-videoke, ka-trabaho etc… sige man mi panglibak, pamantay, panglibak na sad, pamantay pa jud utro, sige reklamo, bagotbot sa mga nahitabo. Mao to nga, ngano kaha dili ko magbuhat ug Blog about sa mga nahitabo dinhi sa Cagayan ug sa akong mga nasinatian dinhi ug sa uban lugar.
So, mao lang sa na mga chuy ug chay… anyway, magbabasa jud mo ani sa akong blog siguro maka-ila na dayon mo sa ako… ako na ang mga naa sa picture diha uban nga murag unggoy sa bukid sa Karagala.
