It’s Friday! TGIFriday’s in CDO

It’s FRIDAY!!!

Yes, today is not Friday but it’s Friday because at TGIFriday’s it’s always Friday, no matter what day it is.

Whenever you dine at Friday’s you will surely feel it’s the weekend because of the fun and fabulous services you can get on your stay there. It’s not my first time to dine at TGIFriday’s but I was so excited when they finally opened at Cagayan de Oro City. Located in Centrio Mall, the newest Friday’s restaurant offers a vibrant and homey atmosphere that makes you feel at home everytime you dine there. Just the usual contemporary vibe and interiors you’ll find at any TGIFriday’s branch. Their Centrio branch is a 110-seater restaurant to make sure a lot of people will be accommodated everytime. The wooden dining tables, spacious booth seating down to the sleek droplights that brighten the dining areas is truly a Friday characteristic that we all love. Oh! I just love the memorabilia concept where images and stuff about some famous celebs, icons and artists around the corners, from Bruce Lee, Wonder Woman, E.T. Ghostbusters to Elvis Presley’s memorabilia, Michael Jackson’s, Whitney Houston, etc.

GelatoRama at Missy Bon Bon Breadshop

It is already summer indeed and nothing can satisfy our cravings for something sweet, something creamy and something cold to relieve the summer heat. Yes, GELATO is just right for our cravings during summer.

If you are looking for a perfect blend of your favourite flavors of gelato, I recommend Missy Bon Bon’s selection of oh-so-yummy and creamy gelato. It is my first time to experience their gelato and I can say Oh Yeah! I have tasted the best bursting flavour gelato in town, and I am not the only one saying that… you can ask your friends about Missy Bon Bon’s Gelato and they will agree with me. My favourite so far is their Sans Rival gelato, I may not so into ice creams the following months, because I am trying to cut down my calorie intakes to burn my tummy fats to prepare for the summer season. But that won’t stop me to eat more gelato because I will try more flavors soon. I am still craving for more Missy Bon Bon’s gelato while writing this post.

But if you really want to try all the flavors at Missy Bon Bon’s gelato in one day, that is extremely possible. Because Missy Bon Bon just have their Gelato-All-You-Can Party promo for their 1st Year Anniversary on April 16, 2011 at 1PM onwards. It’s GELATORAMA and it is gonna be a scoop till you drop for gelato aficionados in town. To join, you need to complete all 10 stamps (1 stamp for each visit of at least 100 pesos worth of transaction) on their promo card that will be given to you when you visit their shop at Limketkai Center any day from now, after you completed all the 10 stamps it will be your FREE pass for the unlimited number of scoops of your favourite GELATO flavors on their Gelato-All-You-Can Party. So hurry now! I just completed mine and I’ll just wait for the day that I will have a scoop-till-you-drop on my GELATO Favorito.

Extortionist PR Company and Big Bad Blogger, Who are they?

I have heard about this issue where a certain PR company and a Big Bad Blogger tried to extort and prey on a certain restaurant owner. My blogger friends are discussing about this the previous week and we have been saddened about it, because if that certain issue won’t be stopped, it would certainly make the Blogosphere a Bad Name.

If you have read about the article by Margaux Salcedo, a food writer at the Sunday Inquirer Magazine of the Philippine Daily Inquirer entitled “Please Don’t Give Blogging a Bad Name

She put the whole story into words on the article of how this certain PR company extorted a certain Restaurateur she named GEORGIA (Not the real name). These PR Company will then shakes down restaurants that refuse to hire its services with the help of a certain “Big Bad Blogger”, by letting the blogger eat at the restaurant, take pictures of the foods and then writes an awful review about the restaurant.
