Feel lang nako mag eninglis while composing this post. Wala lang, na bored lang ko while ga hulat ko nga mag ubos na ang tubig baha sa sulod sa among balay. So mao ni trying hard nga nag practis ko ug compose ug blogpost nga eninglis. I know daghan hinawayon sa akong eninglis, ok ra na, maka recover ra mo… ako man gani himantayon, so walay problema sa ako kung naa pud hinawayon, pero bantay lang kay mamantay pud ko sa imo, basin pa diay naa pud kay dili mao nga eninglis or grammar, basin mahimo na hinoon ko ug Himantayon nga Hinawayon. Heheheh…
Mao ni akong story:
Waaa! November rain can really cause November flooding.
Yesterday, typhoon Urduja’s rain doesn’t seem to stop, it started like dawn of Tuesday, November 24, 2009 and the rain downpour is at a constant intense volume until Wednesday morning, November 25, 2009. I slept soundly because the weather and temperature seems suitable for slumbering, but not until 4AM this morning. While I was on the verge of dreaming, I heard mom’s voice calling my name blending with the hazy sound of the rain striking the tin roof of the house. I am still half asleep while she told me that she needed my help to transfer some things downstairs because the flood water is starting to conquer our living room floors and through the kitchen and all over the house. After hearing her, I jumped out in my bed and scamper downstairs to check if my computer set is still safe. But this is what I found:
See? We are already soaked with flood water and it was cold and dirty, but there’s nothing we can do but to stride on water to transfer some things to safety. We didn’t mind the germs or bacteria that can cause leptospirosis or any possible infection on the water that time. All we were thinking was to make sure valuable things don’t get damaged.
