It’s Friday! TGIFriday’s in CDO

It’s FRIDAY!!!

Yes, today is not Friday but it’s Friday because at TGIFriday’s it’s always Friday, no matter what day it is.

Whenever you dine at Friday’s you will surely feel it’s the weekend because of the fun and fabulous services you can get on your stay there. It’s not my first time to dine at TGIFriday’s but I was so excited when they finally opened at Cagayan de Oro City. Located in Centrio Mall, the newest Friday’s restaurant offers a vibrant and homey atmosphere that makes you feel at home everytime you dine there. Just the usual contemporary vibe and interiors you’ll find at any TGIFriday’s branch. Their Centrio branch is a 110-seater restaurant to make sure a lot of people will be accommodated everytime. The wooden dining tables, spacious booth seating down to the sleek droplights that brighten the dining areas is truly a Friday characteristic that we all love. Oh! I just love the memorabilia concept where images and stuff about some famous celebs, icons and artists around the corners, from Bruce Lee, Wonder Woman, E.T. Ghostbusters to Elvis Presley’s memorabilia, Michael Jackson’s, Whitney Houston, etc.

Caught on Summer Safari Day 2

Early in the morning everybody woke up aside of me and Edward who had been sleeping for just a few hours before the wake up call, so we’re still snoring during that hour. Migs, knocked on our room’s door to inform us that we need to go on with our itinerary (ma tongue twisted jud ko everytime I mentioned that word) for that day, so we were half awake packing our things and taking a bath in that instance.

All are packed and ready to proceed to our first stop at Dolores Farm Resort in Polomolok, South Cotabato for our breakfast. Following a straight road going to Dolores Farm Resort from Gensan is a stress-free ride, with beautiful sceneries you can catch a glimpse of, specially the breath-taking view of Mt. Matutum. At Dolores Farm Resort, we were welcomed with a large banner saying “Welcome Mindanao Bloggers”. That sight alone made us feel so welcomed and at home at the Resort, as soon as we seated they served us with breakfast meal of fried bangus, fried egg, a cup of rice with fresh cut tomato and crunchy fresh cucumber and that crispy breaded fish (sorry, I forgot that dish’s name).

APO Hiking Society, concert, apo, AHS, Cagayan de Oro Concert, CDO

Just got home from watching APO Hiking Society’s concert at Limketkai Center Cagayan de Oro City and it was a nice experience watching their concert for the first time even though they’re in Showbiz and Music industry for more than 39 years now. I have seen them in the flesh before but watching them perform is a first time for me today. They are still the APO – Jim, Danny and Boboy whom we love on TV and FM radios, the songs they made are still music to our ears and we laugh with their kulitan. Their songs are indeed truly “Walang kupas”, kaya kahit medyo may edad na sila, mahal pa rin sila ng mga Filipino magpahanggang ngayon.

BigBy's Cafe 10th year anniversary

BigBy's cafe

But before going to their concert I ate my dinner at Bigby’s cafe, it’s their 10th year anniversary and they are one of the major presenter of the APO’s concert with BigBy’s Cafe 10th year anniversary – 10 nAPO Sila concert.  Bigby’s cafe have 4 days buffet lunch and dinner promo in celebration of their anniversary starting today until December 8. For only 299 pesos you can eat all you can and Bottomless drinks. It is not just cheap foods they served, but those our all time favorites in Bigby’s food menu they are serving. But as usual, I don’t have a big apettite, so, I just eat just enough that I can swallow. ChiQ, Amor and Jones together with some BIR region 10 employees… we all spent our dinner their with a lot of talks. BIR issues… now I know. ahahahah…

This is after eating the main course dinner, I took some buritos and pasta… you just can see how light eater I am.

That beautiful lady Bigby’s crew standing is happy to serve you…

Dinner at Max’s Restaurant

Ug didto, nag order ko ug Platter meal nila nga mao ang 1 cup of rice, 1/4 slice of fried chicken, Pancit canton, brownies ug 1 cup soda. Sus abi naku unsa mao ra man diay to, gamahal2x lang. Si Emma nag order ug Sizzling hot Chicken with honey sauce, 1 cup of rice and mango juice ug si Rex nag order ug kare-kare, a cup of rice, mango juice plus ube decadence. Hinoon ang Sizzling chicken ug ang kare-kare is good for 3 person naman sad. Pero ang naka chada kay libre diay to ni Rex… Salamat Rex.

Wala ko naka kuha ug picture sa Sizzling Chicken with Honey sauce kay nakalimot ko, apil pud ang kare-kare.
