PAL – Philippine Airlines to start Cagayan de Oro-Zamboanga Flights

As I blog hopped this morning, I bumped into this blog with a headline that says: “PAL to start Cagayan de Oro-Zamboanga flights”. When I read it, I was like wow! Zamboanga will be just an hour away from CDO. If you don’t know, I never been to Zamboanga, but I would just want to explore that “Asia’s Latin City” on the southwestern-most tip of mainland Mindanao.

What makes me inhibit to come to that place is because of a 10 long hours bus travel from Cagayan de Oro to Zamboanga, and there are few reports before that I have heard about buses being robbed and burned down by some terrorist groups along the way near Lanao del Norte area to some parts of Misamis Occidental. My aunt and cousin are just few of the victims before, but thank God they’re okay, only their things have been taken away from them. I could say, that is a daunting experience when you travel, so as far as I would like to travel around Zamboanga those thoughts are holding me back. Continue reading →

Group Trips are Fun if there are no Drama Queens

Travelling with friends is fun, specially when all of your friends you travelled with are not a pain in the ass. Everytime I travel or go on in an adventure, I always make sure that I will not be a pain in the ass to the people I am travelling with, but of course except for emergencies and unprecedented events. I know how it feels when a certain person or a friend spoils your trips, adventures or vacations by becoming a drama queen, like they are sick, they need to go home because of this and that and a lot of excuses. It feels like you want to kick them and send them right in-front of their home like a rocket but you just can’t and at the end, all of you will end up going home unsatisfied of your adventures because of the queen bee wannabe.

So, just a warning for those who travels with friends or group trips, make sure you don’t bring with you your friends who tend to be a drama queen or king when travelling and also those spoilers and pain in the ass, because it will be expected that you cannot enjoy your adventures, group trips and travels later on.
